Spontaneous SF Evenings.

Yesterday evening was spent in wonderful company. My friends took me out for a delicious poke + wings dinner at Pa'ina (a belated bday get-together), because I was invited to a screening of The Intern at the Kabuki Theater right next door. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and very satisfying. Apparently Pa'ina has Wing Wednesdays,Β so wings are 25 cents a pop. How ridiculous is that?? If you ever go to this spot, make sure you get the Garlic Cilantro wings; they were definitely my favorite, though all were d[...]

TRINIDAD & TOBAGO – Photo Recap.

Posted In: Adventures | BeautifuLife | trips
Few and far between, you come across once in a lifetime experiences that change you forever. This entire trip was one of those for me. For a week I lived in a dream, where every waking moment was filled with beauty, wonder, inspiration, and a sense of freespirited adventure in its truest form. I never knew what the day ahead of me would hold, but as each one unfolded it would sweep me up in spontaneity. We planned nothing - we were just along for the ride. The girls and I had an overarching sense of what we wanted to do t[...]

My sincerest apologies for the delay in getting this up, but this particular vlog proved to be a bit more challenging to put together because of the overload of meaningful moments captured. Nonetheless, it is finally here - the video recap of our Trinidad & Tobago trip for my 30th birthday, and one of my most special vlogs to date (not that I've made that many lol). This one is longer than all my other vlogs, but I hope you take the time to watch it all the way through. You might also find a few entertaining bonus cl[...]

Birthday Suit.

Halston sent me this beautiful and elegant crepe gown to wear on my birthday, and I have to say that they really do hit the mark with their "minimalist extravagance" tagline. The silhouette of this dress is so simple,Β and yet the cutouts and straps give it a special something while still lending themselves to the minimalist feel of it, no added embellishments needed. The way this dress fits/hugs the female figure is perfect, even with my petite frame. Its drape and flowΒ are absolutely gorgeous, and it was the perfect weig[...]

En Route to Maracas Bay.

Posted In: Adventures | BeautifuLife | Style | trips
For our final adventure in Trinidad & Tobago we ventured to Maracas Bay in Trinidad, which is appropriately dubbed the most beautiful beach in Trinidad, because it is absolutely gorgeous. The difference though between the beaches in Trinidad and the beaches in Tobago is every single beach in Tobago feels like a private beach, and they have hardly anyone on them but a few locals (if even any). Maracas Bay, however, (and all of Trini for that matter) is a little more touristy and leans towards a slightly city-like vi[...]

Tobago in LA.

Posted In: BeautifuLife | Style
I got a little too excited about this dashiki post so it's coming prematurely, before the rest of my Trinidad & Tobago posts. Sorry. I just love this dashiki so much. It's my absolute favorite new piece and I'm probably going to wear it at least once a week, it's THAT comfortable (and pretty). The royal blue with the intricate gold/black trim details are so magnetic to the eye and I was immediately drawn to it when I saw it. I snagged it in Store Bay in Tobago and have worn it 3 times already, including whilst trav[...]
