Cebu, Philippines

Pretty Little Things.

One of the greatest things about rompers is the fact that you don't have to worry about putting a top/bottom outfit together. Just throw a cute one on, accessorize and find the right shoes, and you're ready to walk out the door. They also make the best travel companions because they're light, easy to pack tightly, and make the process of packing that much simpler. This shiny, tropical number is the "Brianna Printed Romper" from Tobi in Copper, and it features low v-neck and open back details that not only make it[...]

Bell Sleeves in Tropical Weather.

Posted In: Adventures | Asia | Philippines | Style | travel | trips
I just got back from spending the last couple weeks in Cebu, Philippines and I definitely have to say that trying to look decent/presentable in such extreme heat is always a challenge. When average daytime temperatures run somewhere in the high 80-90s Fahrenheit, sometimes all you want to do is slip a thin, loose tanktop on, some light shorts and slippers and call it a day. I was admittedly a little worried about bringing anything with long sleeves to the Philippines because of the heat this time of year, but this black "W[...]

Look Like an X-Men While Reviving Your Face ft. Dr. Dennis Gross Spectralite Eyecare Pro.

Anyone who knows me knows that I've had a really, really hectic last few months. From work, events, and travel, to wedding season, baby shower season, and my nephew Cade's birth - I'm fighting the constant uphill battle to get enough sleep. Aren't we all? I never used to think lack of sleep would have long-term effects on me (all twenty-something's believe they're invincible and impervious, that is the glory of being young and naive), and I certainly never thought that I would really worry about things like fine lines or[...]

Shark Diving With Marine Dynamics – Vlogumentary #4 (MindfulTravel TV)

While we were in Cape Town, South Africa last May, we had the absolute pleasure of partnering with Marine Dynamics and Dyer Island Conservation Trust to go Great White Shark Diving in Gansbaai (the Great White Shark capital of the world). We caught up with Tammi, our on-board marine biologist, who told us a little bit about their work, their procedures, and the initiatives they take to not only protect and conserve the animals and their environment, but to educate their visitors as well. Great Whites are truly mag[...]

London, Paris, Milan, Nice

My First Eurotrip – Love and Terror.

In July of last year, my close friend Joma and I ventured to Europe. We passed through London, Paris, Milan and Nice by plane and train within a total of two weeks. I have to admit, of all the trips I had been on and had coming down the pipeline at the time, this was the one I was least excited about. There were a few reasons for this: Europe is definitely one of the more heavily explored continents in the world and I prefer to venture to less "touristy" destinations. I prefer nature trips over city trips any day, an[...]

#TECHSESH 06 – Riding Around With Superpedestrian

Posted In: BeautifuLife | tech
Superpedestrian recently blessed me with one of their amazing bicycles with a Copenhagen Wheel, and I couldn't be happier with them! I'd been looking into getting a bicycle to ride around San Francisco with for a while, and I could never quite find the one I felt was perfect for me - and that's when Superpedestrian found me. The red part you see on the back wheel contains incredible technology for assisted riding. It learns your movements and the way you ride, and the enhances those movements to amplify your pedal power[...]
