#BEMOREHUMAN Campaign With Reebok

Posted In: BeautifuLife | Style

Last month I was lucky enough to be a part of Reebok’s #BEMOREHUMAN Social Campaign, and I just wanted to share it here on my blog as well. Here’s the excerpt I shared on Instagram:

“There’s never been a better time to be a woman. We are seeing more strong, fearless female leading roles in movies, in the workplace, in political office, in our homes. Last year we came the closest we’ve ever come to having a woman as President of the United States. We’ve had blockbuster movies like Wonder Woman and Black Panther showcasing women in a new light – one of elegance, courage and power. We have the MeToo movement. We are speaking up, we are leveling the playing field. We are beginning to shatter unrealistic body images and we are replacing them with self-love, acceptance, and body positivity. We have the right to vote, we are beginning to earn equal pay, and we are seeing more and more women in places of real influence. But our work is so far from over. We still live in a world that is more inclined to divide rather than unite. We still live in a world where mental health is a rapidly growing issue because we are intolerant of the notion of suffering – often because we feel alone in it. We still live in a world that tries to silence us by stigmatizing issues that should be discussed openly and freely. We still live in a world where little girls believe that if they don’t have a certain body type, they won’t be loved. This is where we come in. This is where we use our voices and our actions to effect change – to spread messages of love, positivity, acceptance, and strength to our human brothers and sisters. What does it mean to be human? It means to be beautifully flawed and wonderfully unique, and it means to empower and uplift our fellow brothers and sisters through empathy and compassion. I’m so honored to be a part of Reebok’s #BEMOREHUMAN social campaign! Join the women making change by purchasing one of these amazing tees – 100% of the proceeds goes directly to Women’s Strength Coalition and the Movemeant Foundation.”

The tee is by Reebok, the orange wool beret is from Asos, the oversized striped blazer is from Zara, the denim shorts from Hudson Jeans, and the shoes are the Elm Chunky Boots from Asos.

All the stacked gold jewelry is a mixture of Vanessa MooneyCourtney BensikSame MatterRose Gypsy, and Young Frankk.
