I’ve always been one for blurring lines, so this Christmas was a very special one for me (and quite possibly my favorite one to date). Sister’s fiance Dan (get used to these names, they’ll frequent my blog), has been with us for the past 5 Christmases, but this year, we had one very beautiful addition to the family holiday festivities:
My boyfriend Zach.
Dan and Zach are both Jewish, so they get the best of both worlds by celebrating Hanukkah with their families and Christmas with ours. They get double the gifts! Not fair. Whatever.
The holiday was filled with endless love and laughter. We visited my parents, played games, ate too much food, took shots of Jameson out of childhood teacups, sipped wine, and reminisced – not a single embarrassing story was left untold. Well maybe a few, but we gotta keep ’em coming back for more. The gift I gave to my sister made her tear up, which is a huge score, because I like making people cry. And seriously, the food my mom and dad made was ridiculous. I was convinced they wanted us all to be fat, and would like to propose that they split my gym membership payment this month as part of my Xmas present.
The photo below is Zach’s Xmas present to me. We call each other LoveBomb, so he had these two gorgeous Love Bomb necklaces custom made for me. He also told me I’m strange and wonderful.
I told him he’s just trying to get laid.
Oh, and one more thing. I’m a heifer.
These spreads were the most ridiculous yet.
Parting with him is always the hardest thing to do.0 Be the first to like this post :)
