North America

I'm finally, finally back with another travel vlog! This past February I went to Maui with my best friend Mariane, and we had an absolutely amazing time. Thanks to the lovely locals that we met and made friends with during our time there, we got to experience the island in the best way. A big thank you to The Fairmont Kea Lani for the outstanding service and beautiful accommodation! Another huge thank you to Kawika's Hill and our Maalaea Beachfront accommodation as well, both listings were beautiful and helped make our s[...]

Rare Earth.

What better way to embrace being surrounded by the earth and its elements than to adorn yourself excessively in its elements as well? Stacking metals, bone, and stones were a running theme for me in the desert of Palm Springs during Coachella, and I loved layering all the different textures while keeping my color palette fairly neutral, with small pops of color like the one on my lips. This Crushing Hearts Striped Maxi Skirt from Tobi was perfect for beating the heat because of its breathable fabric and high[...]

Our Trip to Tequila, Mexico by Joshua Morin for Matador Network

As you all know, I recently took a trip to Tequila, Mexico in partnership with National Geographic, Tequila Tourism, and Aeromexico. One of the crew members on this trip was the incredibly talented Joshua Morin, who documented our trip for Matador Network, in the distinct and highly artistic fashion that he's notorious for. You may have seen a number of his viral clips on Vimeo, and I'm so lucky to have been a part of one of his beautiful and visually compelling pieces. In this video you get an immersive glimpse into our[...]

Different Desert Vibes.

I wanted to do Coachella style a little differently, so I played with blacks, beiges, metals, and a pop of red. This day I wore my vintage black Levi's that I cut into shorts, my Sabo Skirt cropped sleeveless turtleneck with the epic sideboob cutout (lol), my Bri Bri belt from B-Low the Belt, and my Faryl Robin x Free People Gold Dust ankle boots. If you know me, you know I love long things to create drama when I walk, and what better place to double that up than Coachella? I wore my tribal poncho over my[...]

Simplicity + Evolving.

For those of you who are newer followers of mine on Instagram and who perhaps haven't scrolled that far down on my feed, the simplicity of this look + the short blonde hair might be a surprise to you, given my long, dark braids and textured, layered, highly accessorized style as of late. Sure, what I wear to the beach will be very different from what I wear while roaming around a town or city, but more importantly, my personal style is ever-evolving. As I scroll back through my Instagram I, myself, can see the chan[...]

I still have a few Maui style posts to throw up, and this was one of my favorite looks during that trip! This Romwe Apricot Playsuit is dreamy. Lightweight, flowing, breathable, with a silhouette designed to perfection. I'm definitely bringing this playsuit with me to Santorini at the end of this month, because the colorway will go perfectly with that scenery as well. I paired it with these comfortable gladiator sandals from GoJane, a thin brown leather belt, and a floppy hat that I purchased from a b[...]
