The Colors of Malta.

Posted In: BeautifuLife | Europe | Malta | Style
When my boyfriend and I decided we were traveling to Malta for NYE, I was determined to find a dress that would match the neutral nude/beige colors and textures of the European island. While Malta isn't really colorful like so many other European countries, I find its primarily monochromatic aesthetic to be incredibly beautiful. You'll find hints of Italian, British, and even a little French influence, but it's this natural limestone-induced architecture that is the authentic and traditional Maltese feel that is indica[...]

Stand Out.

Posted In: BeautifuLife | Europe | Greece | Style
The amazing thing about vacationing in a place where the color palette is very neutral (white) and stark (vibrant blue) at the same time, is you can wear any color that pops, and you immediately stand out against the gorgeous scenery. The auburn/rusty/burnt orange hue of this beautiful faux suede dress from GoJane along with the bright Rose color of this Fossil Emma Zip Clutch were the perfect items to contrast with this side of Santorini. Also wearing my trusty Nine West heels, and all accessories are by Martine[...]

Curious Heart.

Posted In: BeautifuLife | Europe | Greece | Style
These photos were taken on our first day roaming Athens, Greece. This post does reflect my style, but I wanted to do more than simply speak about my outfit, while keeping it brief. I wanted to remind you all to stay curious. To wonder. To wander. To love for the sake of love. To love for the sake of you. Travel. Read. Watch movies that stimulate your imagination. Keep a journal. Keep a scrapbook. Don't just Google the answer, go out and find it for yourself. Ask the person next to you how they are and actually li[...]

Printed Proper.

I've been all about solids, neutrals, and minimalism in terms of my personal style for a while, but lately I've been reinspired by prints and the idea of revisiting color in a new way. Vibrant hues and patterns are so prevalent in the countries I've visited so far this year, and I've had so much fun finding ways to take some of their fashion attributes and infusing them into my style. In this case, it's prints and tons of stacked accessories. I'm wearing this Grand Gesture jumpsuit from Tobi, my B-Low the Belt Bri[...]

The Uniform.

Posted In: BeautifuLife | Style
I love a good trench coat like this grey one from Romwe. Regardless of the time of day or the day of the week, it's very likely that you'll find me in some variation of this outfit, especially during this Winter season in SF. It's comfortable, it's chic, and it's juuuust warm enough to shield you while you're braving the streets until you enter a heated building - whether it be your office, a coffee shop, a restaurant, etc. A button-up collared shirt that's hardly buttoned and pants that hit right at the ankle are great, u[...]

Mondaze.

Posted In: BeautifuLife | Style
So interesting how a nice coat like this Romwe Asymmetrical one can turn simple blue jeans and a nice white tee into business casual. I like it because even though it's a lot of fabric and drapes fairly loosely, it still has nice shape to it because of the tapering at the waist. Throw it on with some strappy open-toed heels and you've got yourself the perfect day-to-evening look that's great for going to work then dinner + happy hour. I'm wearing the Romwe Asymmetrical Coat with blue Hudson Jeans, a white Cotton On tee, C[...]
