Mixed Patterns.

Posted In: BeautifuLife | Europe | Greece | Style
Hi. I've been MIA. It's been insanely hectic/busy these last couple months (in the best way), so I can't complain, but I AM sorry for my absence. Truly! I've got a number of new style posts in the pipeline, but I can't post them without posting the rest of my style posts from Greece first. Most days I don't mix a lot of patterns/prints at all, but when I'm traveling, especially in a tropical location, I can go pretty crazy with the textures, patterns, and prints. And I love it. :) On this gorgeous day in Santo[...]

Rare Earth.

What better way to embrace being surrounded by the earth and its elements than to adorn yourself excessively in its elements as well? Stacking metals, bone, and stones were a running theme for me in the desert of Palm Springs during Coachella, and I loved layering all the different textures while keeping my color palette fairly neutral, with small pops of color like the one on my lips. This Crushing Hearts Striped Maxi Skirt from Tobi was perfect for beating the heat because of its breathable fabric and high[...]

Brunch in Bali.

Posted In: Asia | Bali | BeautifuLife | Indonesia | Style
Wore this simple, chic getup to brunch (or late breakfast lol) in Bali. Leave it to a great tank dress like this one from Tobi to help you look like you put a little effort into getting ready without actually doing so. I dressed it up with my GoJane strappy heels, my Lady Roulette fedora from Goorin Bros, and this gorgeous Fossil "Harper" Crossbody Bag in Seaglass for a pop of color. Threw on my usual tropics-ready stacked accessories from Androgyny Design, Stunner Collective, Young Frankk and Rose Gypsy and was re[...]

Printed Proper.

Posted In: Asia | Bali | BeautifuLife | Indonesia | Style
I've been all about solids, neutrals, and minimalism in terms of my personal style for a while, but lately I've been reinspired by prints and the idea of revisiting color in a new way. Vibrant hues and patterns are so prevalent in the countries I've visited so far this year, and I've had so much fun finding ways to take some of their fashion attributes and infusing them into my style. In this case, it's prints and tons of stacked accessories. I'm wearing this Grand Gesture jumpsuit from Tobi, my B-Low the Belt Bri[...]

Beach Chic.

Who says you can't wear heels to beach town? When they're as comfortable as these Alias Mae heels, you can wear them wherever your little heart desires. This is what I wore while running around Venice, CA yesterday. It was definitely a hot day, but this GoJane bodysuit and Romwe blazer are lightweight enough to wear even on a sunny Cali day. I, personally, love the juxtaposition between the chic-ish ensemble and the straw fedora that I found there in Venice. I accessorized with the tan belt, tan Fossil watch, a ta[...]

Sweat It.

Posted In: BeautifuLife | Style
Definitely didn't mean to lag on this style post, my sincerest apologies! Things have been pretty hectic on my end in terms of my time here in Africa in addition to all the preparation that had to happen beforehand (not complaining btw, feeling incredibly blessed to be out here doing what we're doing). Today I wanted to do something a little different. While I still think the base of this outfit is still pretty minimalist (I mean it's a sweatsuit for crying out loud), I honestly think what tips it slightly off the m[...]
