Tobago in LA.

DSC_2672DSC_2620 DSC_2629 DSC_2646 DSC_2661 DSC_2679 DSC_2688 DSC_2649I got a little too excited about this dashiki post so it’s coming prematurely, before the rest of my Trinidad & Tobago posts. Sorry. I just love this dashiki so much. It’s my absolute favorite new piece and I’m probably going to wear it at least once a week, it’s THAT comfortable (and pretty). The royal blue with the intricate gold/black trim details are so magnetic to the eye and I was immediately drawn to it when I saw it. I snagged it in Store Bay in Tobago and have worn it 3 times already, including whilst traveling back to California from Trinidad. Alas, we are indeed back in Cali and experiencing significant withdrawals, but my physical location doesn’t stop me from channeling my inner “TT local” vibes. Here I’m wandering the streets of DTLA and finished the look with black accents and stacked jewelry. I’m wearing my trusty Faryl RobinΒ x Free People booties, a large brim hat from Urban Outfitters, black shades that I purchased in the Fashion District a while ago, and Stunner Collective accessories mixed in with jewelry pieces I purchased in Tobago (shell choker, shark tooth necklace, woven shark tooth bracelet, turquoise bracelet, gold ring with stone on right middle finger, and turquoise/silver triangle ring on right index finger). Additional new accessories: a ton of mosquito bites and a brand spankin’ new tan.
